Stratagem by HJM group is invigorated to become one of the world’s largest and most influential corporate research institutions. We play the long game, investing now in tomorrow's breakthroughs. 

Scientists working at Stratagem are pioneering scientific quantum leaps across today’s most promising and disruptive technologies including the future of oil and gas strategic planning, upstream, midstream and downstream processing, waste treatment innovation designs, water treatment optimization, and chemical processes design and plant operation debottlenecking.

Our scientists are charting the future of chemical and petrochemical industries, breakthroughs like strategic modelling tools, how national-level studies will reshape the future of Lebanon and much more. 

Our philosophy

Collectively, we’re working to understand how systems are interconnected and the role technology plays within them.

We are dedicated to applying interdisciplinary knowledge and science to industry challenges, whether it’s discovering a new way for engineers to de-bottleneck problems, teaming with environmentalists to clean up our waterways  and solid-waste crisis, or enabling retailers to personalize customer service.

Our main objective is to create knowledge about fundamental scientific challenges that are of genuine value for society. Important research with long-term impact in the fields of chemical and petrochemical process systems, engineering optimisation and problem-solving modelling tools constitutes the basis of Stratagem. Stratagem is about devising the best strategies to manipulate outcomes to the best interest of the society.

What we do

At STRATAGEM, we operate on multiple fronts. Our services include:

2. ♦ We provide the Research and Development façade for various consultancy group and process industries.
3. ♦ We derive statistical data to be used as benchmark for establishing modelling tools.
4. ♦ We help students publishing academic papers, from Final Year Project studies, to graduated student seeking to increase their potential.
5. ♦ We provide free studies for the public and private sectors, working closely with non-for-profit, and non-governmental organisations, as part of our pro-bono work.
